Affiliations and Examination Boards

Miss Carly is registered with the Associated Board of Dance. 

ABD is a dance examination board that offers regulated examinations in dance core subjects which are accredited by GQAL & OFQUAL and offers accredited technical examinations and medal tests in all forms of dance.

ABD operates internationally, and their syllabi has been written by teams of experts in their particular field. The examinations demand a high standard of work which have gained a reputation and respect within the dance industry for quality.

ABD are corporate members of 'The British Dance Council' (BDC), The Theatre Dance Council International (TDCI) and also fully accredited members of the "Board of Dance Qualifications & Training" (BDQT) - comparability studies are regularly held with other recognised dance awarding organisations to ensure quality is maintained across the board.

Miss Carly is registered with Melody Movement. 

Melody Movement Early learning is a unique dance curriculum which addresses the needs of children aged 18 months upwards. It is tailored to discovering and fulfilling the potential of each child, nurturing their creative development, and supporting teachers to deliver effective and happy classes in music and movement, ballet and tap dancing.

Loveable teddy, Melody Bear, is the focal point of theearly years curriculum, and all her activities, stories, ideas and dreams can be told through dance and movement. The carefully planned learning experience of each child ensures a successful transition from one stage to the next. The Melody Bear journey ends at the Foundation Ballet level as the children wave farewell to her at their Graduation Ceremony. The creative spirit of Melody Movement continues in our Junior Ballet syllabus and Ballet Classique study programmes.
